Food

Food can mean many things to people.  Food is essentially a source of nourishment and energy, however in some cultures and families food is worshipped and idolized.  Although you don’t need to get extreme and idolize the pasta that sits before you, you should definitely savor your food and remember that meal time is a unique time.  Your food should have your own special touch or should be ordered from your favorite restaurant.  Treat yourself on weekends to frozen yogurt with friends or bake those delicious muffins you have been craving all week. Eating on the go?  Make sure to take 5 minutes to eat a piece of fruit, a few almonds, or a PB & J.  Make food more than just a source of energy; make your food a source of enjoyment.  We believe you are what you eat so eat the best foods for you and make sure to maintain balance!
